Berkeley Tie-Dye Heart tomato was discovered by Brad Gates and he lists it as a mutation of the popular Berkeley Tie-Dye tomato.
This beautiful oxheart was a very heavy producer for us – heavier and earlier than Berkeley Tie-Dye, although with a similar flavor. The many fruit are of various shapes and sizes, mostly oxheart, and we saved seeds from the “most heart-shaped” tomatoes.
