Chadds Ford is a regular leaf, indet. 3-8 oz. black, green-shouldered fruit with very good flavor and excellent production. All 3 plants at our San Diego trial garden were consistent, but our Sacramento trial garden had one plant with off-colored fruit, so may not be completely stable. It will be interesting to see how this performs in the PNW maritime climate. This is a Tom Wagner introduction and was bred to produce small ‘Brandywines’ with Brandywine flavor for the cooler/short season climates.
